FUEL is excited to announce that it has selected local non-profit Feed & Seed as the fourth quarter recipient of its FUEL for Good Quarterly Grant program.
“With such an abundant opportunity for Feed & Seed to help local farmers thrive and provide affordable, local food through their programs, we’re excited to work with the organization to re-evaluate their online presence and recommend the right tools and messaging to boost their efforts in 2021,” said Warren Griffith, president and CEO of FUEL.
Through the grant program, FUEL provides $10,000 of pro bono marketing services to help non-profits have a positive impact on the community through the development and execution of marketing strategies that support and further their mission.
A 501(c)(3) organization based in Greenville, Feed & Seed (F&S) is focused on making local, fresh food readily available and affordable to everyone in South Carolina by connecting local farmers with local institutions and consumers. The organization provides a broad range of services including income for stressed farms, farmer training, product development, logistics support for FoodShare boxes containing regional products, and creating shelf-stable products from surplus supplies to minimize waste and keep families fed.
“Feed & Seed is excited to be selected for the FUEL for Good Grant program,” said Mary Hipp, Feed & Seed Board Chair. “We look forward to working with their talented team to get our mission out in the community: Fresh affordable local food available to all South Carolinians.”
